Educated in the laws and doctrines of
Kahosh, usually within the Great Library in
Hermi.
Served as an apprentice under another Sotu, and proving themselves capable of taking over.
A Sotu is appointed by the community
Yipeem and approved by the
Yom. In the case that they are appointed during a time that the
Yom is not in session, they must be vetted by the nearest
Yipeem and Sotu not of their own community.
A Sotu is expected to ensure the
Yipeem they serve is making judgements within the laws and doctrine set forth by the
Yom. It is a highly respected position, and very competitive.
Reviewing judgement and citing proper doctrine and law for the
Yipeem. Reporting to the
Yom finalized judgements, rulings, and even concerns regarding their
Yipeem.
