Qualifications
You are expected to have served as a member of a militia within a community of Kahosh for a period of no less than 10 years.
Appointment
In sessions of the Yom that have to respond to acts of war, the assembled Yipeem bring forth a veteran of their militias to become a Ramemu for the period of the conflict. The Yom then selects from among those, giving them control over all militias until such a time that they are not needed anymore.
Duties
Two-fold, protect and defend the peoples of Kahosh and to relinquish those duties at the end of the conflict.
Responsibilities
The militias are not a professional military force, and primarily serve as peacekeepers and watchmen. It is the responsibility of the Ramemu to prepare them for a conflict and to conduct military campaigns in order to ensure the safety and security of the Kahoshi people.
