Completed all the Trials of Shadow, each designed to provide evidence of the individuals growth in the Way of Shadow.
Appointment
Once the qualifications are met, the contender for the title must challenge the current holder to combat. The eldest of the monks must agree that the challenge is legitimate, and the current holder has the right to refuse.
