Structure
The Grand-master stands above all, and oversees all work performed by the Painted. His High Priests manage entire regions of the Empire, ensuring that the Painted are allowed to perform their sacred duty. The Priesthood manages communities within those regions, performing ceremonies over the dead of those communities. Acolytes are those who assist the priests, and perform various duties unsuited to the Priesthood.
Public Agenda
Their purpose is to shepherd the dead. For those with access to the necropolis beneath Unathelas, it means bringing their body to their respective tomb within it. All others, it means performing ceremonies over the deceased and ensuring that their resting places are kept clear of any ills.
