Throughout all of his life Udolf - or Udo as he is known to his ...uh...not so many... friends - has wanted to travel the world of C'Naelis, discovering its beauty, its mysteries and curiosities. So enraptured by the world he sees before him he encaptures his findings in song and as he travels the vast lands of the world he shares his songs with his unwitting...I mean...loving...no I was right the first time... unwitting audience.
He has a profound love for music and a passion for poetry and stories!
Except...he is really bad at it. No seriously, he is SO bad at it.... Okay, so he is no strangled cat, but his lyrics are bad, his voice is mediocre at best and his lute is always just a liiiittle bit out of tune.
Still, this does not stop him! He continues town to town, city to city, kingdom to kingdom spreading his...cough...'joy' and song and stories. He meets new people and makes new friends...so he thinks... Any unfriendly responses to his songs only fuel his desire to become better and prove people ...philistines, he believes...wrong.
From a little boy, he always knew he was destined to travel the world. Hearing stories of the reclusive Orva, the mysterious Nya in N'yamrinth, to the wonderous tree known as the Beacon of Seyalind. He knew he wanted to see these magnificent places. Find of music, was he, so he declared that his profession and decides to document his travels through song rather than a measly journal. Within songs, his travels would become immortalised. They would be sung for years to come and all would wonder about the bard who visited every kingdom of C'Naelia!
