Castle of Alarden
Castle Alarden was built by the Alarden family as a seat of their thanedom with in the nation of Bretawald, they were a powerful and ancient family.
They moved their estate from the outskits of Port Kolin to their new seat of power in the central plains of Bretawald.
once complete it controlled much of the lands between Farodell Forest, the river Calar and the northern Sundered Mountains. protecting trade down the Silverway to Port Kolin itself.
