Magical storm

The world of Brisesia is subject to magical storms that appear at random and create magical havoc when they pass through. The storms have a variety of effects depending on their source location.

Manifestation

The hair on the back of your neck and arms stands on end with an electric tingle and your ears pop as the air pressure shifts rapidly. Those sensitive to magic can sense a swirling magical pressure building somewhere in the distance and a tingling in their extremities.   The sky roils and shifts with a rainbow of colors and reality itself seems to warp like some sort of mirage, occasionally visions of other places perhaps even other planes can be glimpsed as the rolling distortion moves across the landscape leaving strangeness in its wake.     Alulian Principality: In this realm of the gods the storms rage with divine power, one can see glimpses of the gods in the rolling magical field. The effects of these fields range from acts of divine grace to signs of the gods wrath. The faithful see them as such, acts of the divine on the land.   Chan Trading Co.: here the storms make you question the nature of reality, as it warps before your eyes, things become something else , either in truth or simply in disguise. visions dance across the field of view and nothing you sense can be taken at face value   Cloudia: The land here is already scarred with the effects of magic and here the storms have less of a physical effect and more of a mental one, causing those caught within to have visions of past present future and at times other planes. even those not sensitive to magic or the weaving of the tapestry can be gifted ( or plagued) with such otherworldly visions. causing much confusion among the uninitiated.   Curmirea: As a storm rages through the land of Curmirea the land itself rises up and is granted new life. Plants grow or wither, sometimes rising up as they are granted movement and sentience. People are transformed in to animals, animals are warped in to different shapes and occasionally something deep and sleeping starts to stir.   Eagportia: Arguably some of the most dangerous magical storms rage thru the land of Eagportia. Fireballs rain fro the sky , lightning arcs across the ground in unnatural ways, ice forms in the middle of summer. In the land of Evocation magic danger is rife when magic evokes itself.   Khiz: Not unlike the land of Eagportia to the west, the elements are in flux in the midst of a magical storm. Not because of the uncontrolled evocation but because of the unleashed elemental spirits that are summoned unfettered in to the world. Those with bound spirits under their control have to be careful around such storms least the nature of their binding be warped.   Ulgathia: Here in the frozen land of the undead, one dose not encounter many magical storms, but when they do pop up they move slowly across the land leaving a wake of freshly risen undead. Those already undead may find themselves restored of their memories for a while, or feel the magic that sustains them be pulled awy in to the storm. The living might find themselves plagued by necrosis and the cold touch of death.   Zhakara: The enchanting magic of Zhakara is subtle and its storms are the same, shifting peoples emotions and expectations suddenly and quietly. Lately however the storms have started taking on a different charater as the magic school draws other types of magic to it the storms have started demonstrating flavors of all the magic schools, causing no little chaos on the island nation.

Localization

These storms appear all over the world but tend to have different effects depending on where int he world they happen. Occasionally a true wild magic storm rolls through and when that happens anything is possible.
