Guild / Organization/ Reputation System

The reputation system is divided in to two parts. One for Guilds and Organizations and one for the parties overall Reputation
Guild/ Organization system:
Each guild has 5 ranks, doing things for the guild will earn positive association doing things against the guild will earn negative association. Once a certain amount of affiliation is reached than it is possible to move up in rank within the guild in question. This often involves a ritual or ceremony and brings with it benefits specific to the guild in question.   Most things done for a guild are worth 1 pt of Affiliation but that can vary depending on the services rendered. Once your Affiliation reaches the negative your dealings with the guild have turned sour, if you are a member you are kicked out.   Benefits listed on the table below are general and could be different for different guilds   Affiliation is measured on a scale of -5-50
Rank Score Benefits
Apprentice (1) 1 Services: Basic Income: Basic
Adept(2) 10+ Services: Medium Research access
Expert(3) 25+ Income: medium Mentorship
Master(4) 50+ Services: High Income: High

Reputation: Heroics and Infamy
How general NPC's react to players or the party is based on the Reputation they have earned. Reputation is earned by doing things in an area, and can be positive or negative depending on the parties actions. Until reaching the Regional Hero level reputation is tracked in each area the party works in. If the combined reputation of all the areas reaches 15 than the Regional Hero tier is reached and tracking is done on a Kingdom/regional basis
  • Examples of a "Kingdom": the 4 provinces of Cloudia
  • A region would be all of Cloudia
Reputation is on a -20-20 scale and represents how well known you/ your group are. actions are grouped in to Four tiers based on how much reputation they would earn the party. Helpful actions will net Heroic reputation, hurtful or failed actions will net infamous reputation
