The current calendar was introduced by the Chan Trading Co in the 1500's and has been widely adopted by most nations due to the ease of a unified calendar system. Some remote places still keep their own calendars but usually are familiar with the Co.'s version.   Months: Fireseek, Coldeven, Planting, Flocktime, Reaping, Goodmonth, Harvester, Patchwall Days of the week: Freeday, Solday, Luneday, Godsday, Waterday, Earthday, Fireday, Airday   Traditionally Freeday is a day of no work for the Co and it's people. Getting one of them to do something they don't want to do on that day is notoriously hard and contracts are never due on Freeday. Godsday is generly a secondary day of rest but not nearly as enforced. It is concidred an auspicious day to enter a contract because it is the day the gods are watching closest.   The current year is 1815 of The Age of Mortals. The previous age was the Age of Gods and ended at the conclusion of the god and titan war.
