Travels back to Westerstrum

Expedition

Taking Port Warden Frete's message, the group heads back up the Sleepy Strait to deliver it. Not even 2 days out, they stumble across a most aggressive mating ritual between 9 male elks and a single female. The animals seemed to try and prove themselves to her in a brutal attack on the party, almost killing Sir Gisho Wenho.

The next was a terrifying one, in the morning they came across a wild gorgon who had just finished ambushing a cart traveling along the river. They managed to defeat it thank to Rics durability, but then in the evening they stumbled upon another. This second one was able to break Ricks defenses and bring him to deaths door, making this easily there most lethal journey so far.

The next day saw the part reach Brobrook, a large ghetto off the beaten path. The people here had no interest in money, instead bartering for the various items of interest each possessed. Sir Gisho Wenho managed to acquire a legitimate ring of protection for an absurd discount, but was scammed into trading for a belt he had been told was enchanted. Nibblesnarf secured for Choffitt an enhanced wand, and Gisho traded weapons to a man known as “Johnny”, a decision that encouraged the group to leave sooner rather then later.

2 more days of travel later they arrived for a second time at "The Wizards Watering Hole"(The Seekers Guide to Twisted Taverns, see module for story details). After discovering the secret of the tavern, Choffit was awarded a custom tailored Robe of The Magi, and the group received a large sum of gold. Then, 2 days later, they arrived at Cadun and despite a commotion at one of the towns temples, and a mission to head directly to Westerstrum, they headed west for another days travel to Sleekdale.

In Sleekdale they sold all of the meat they had been hoarding, and went on a minor shopping spree which ended with Nibblesnarf planting a large portion of their "weasel jerky" on a local wand seller, then informing the town guard, leading to the end of her business.
