He watched several Duvrhen dynasties rise and fall, fought in many of their wars, and witnessed the mortals learn to strip them of their invulnerability. He was young when the greater gods were imprisoned, and has spent more of his existence without their presence finding their return to be mildly irritating.
When the greater gods were released from imprisonment, the Duvrhen brought to extinction and the lands shattered, Nimrog settled in Arginthorn, finding the orks to be amusing mortals he could likely enslave. Unfortunately for him, Oakenbust druids, with the help of (nature diety), managed to confine him and sap his magic, leaving him powerless.

But his freedom was short lived, cut short when (other dragon) cursed him in 113 CT. The curse is like a cancer destroying his body from within. However, the empire not wanting to loose their tool of destruction, and seeing an opportunity to keep him in check, dedicated a group a mages to constantly heal his dying body, preserving his life at the cost of subservience.
