Mark of Making

  The Mark of Making grants the power to mend or fabricate material goods. The humans of House Cannith carry the Mark of Making. Members of their Tinkers Guild often travel as widely as more traditional tinkers, stopping in villages to repair goods as they go. House Cannith also runs the Fabricators Guild, whose members include those with lesser or greater marks who can fabricate new items rather than just repair old ones.   Trait Mark of Making   Dragonmark Cantrip Read Aura and Sigil.   Dragonmark Spells

Ancestry Feats

 

  Remember, ancestry feats with the dragonmark trait require you to have the dragonmark trait yourself. Humans with the Mark of Making bloodline can take the Least Dragonmark feat. If you are not part of a bloodline with the mark, the Least Dragonmark feat is uncommon for you.  

   

Least Dragonmark
Feat 1

dragonmark   Prerequisites You have the dragonmark heritage trait   You manifest a dragonmark, a sign you are connected to the Draconic Prophecy. Drawing on this power gives you the ability to cast dragonmark spells. You gain the least dragonmark focus spell from your mark and a focus pool of 1. You gain the Trained proficiency in dragonmark attack rolls and DCs. You gain the dragonmark trait, the trait specific to your mark, and access to that marks ancestry feats.   The rules for dragonmark spells are summarized in the Key Terms section on the dragonmark page, and the full rules for focus spells appear here.    

Cannith Forgecraft
Feat 1

dragonmarkfortunemark of making   Prerequisites trained in Crafting   Frequency once per day   Trigger you fail a Craft check.   The stubborn persistence you developed with Cannith training can sometimes salvage a failed construction. If you roll a failure on a craft check, you can reroll the check. You may select the better of the two rolls.    

Dragonmark Whip
Feat 1

dragonmark   You have learned how to manipulate your dragonmark to separate from your body to some degree. You spend 10 minutes focusing your marks magic, imprinting it with the potential of a bladed scarf, flail, meteor hammer, spiked chain, or whip. When you have a free hand, you can spend a single interact action to cause your dragonmark to separate from your body, forming the weapon in your free hand; a second interact action returns it to tattoo form. Your dragonmark weapon functions as the imprinted weapon and can be etched with runes or affixed with talismans as normal, which are suppressed when the weapon is in tattoo form. It also becomes an arcane focus.   You can only have one dragonmark weapon prepared at a time. If you prepare a second one, any runes on the previous weapon that are valid for the new weapon are transferred between them at no cost, but you lose any inapplicable runes.    

Dragonmark Adept
Feat 3

dragonmark   You gain a focus spell from your mark's additional focus spell list of a level you can cast. You can retrain this spell with a week of downtime.    

Dragonmark Cantrip
Feat 3

dragonmark   You gain the dragonmark cantrip spells associated with your mark. These cantrips are modified like other dragonmark spells; losing certain traits and components. A cantrip is automatically heightened to half your level rounded up.    

Armor Works
Feat 4

dragonmarkmark of making   Your mechanical understanding helps you handle complex gear. You gain the Armor Assist feat, even if you don't meet that feat's prerequisites, and can make a Craft check instead of Athletics or Warfare Lore.    

Grinding Strike
Feat 5

dragonmarkmark of making   Prerequisites Lesser Dragonmark   You know just where to strike a construct to take it down. Your weapons and unarmed attacks gain the deadly d6 weapon trait when you attack a construct. If the weapon or unarmed attack already has the deadly trait, increase the size of the deadly damage die by one step instead of giving it deadly d6.  
  Greater Dragonmark The deadly trait increases to a d8.   Siberys Dragonmark The deadly trait increases to a d10.    

Lesser Dragonmark
Feat 5

dragonmark   Prerequisites Least Dragonmark   Your dragonmark grows in power. You gain the Lesser dragonmark focus spell appropriate to your mark. Your proficiency in dragonmark attack rolls and DCs increases to Expert. Greater Dragonmark
Feat 9

dragonmark   Prerequisites Lesser Dragonmark   Your dragonmark grows in power once again. You gain the Greater dragonmark focus spell appropriate to your mark. Increase the number of Focus Points in your focus pool by 1. Grand Dragonmark
Feat 13

dragonmark   Prerequisites Greater Dragonmark   Your dragonmark expands across your body, swelling with power. You gain the Grand dragonmark focus spell appropriate to your mark. Your proficiency in dragonmark attack rolls and DCs increases to Master. Siberys Dragonmark
Feat 17

dragonmark   Prerequisites Grand Dragonmark   Your dragonmark expands across your body, swelling with power. You gain the Siberys dragonmark focus spell appropriate to your mark. You gain Legendary proficiency in dragonmark attack rolls and DCs. Increase the number of Focus Points in your focus pool by 1. Lesser Maker

Lesser Maker gains the traits of the selected spell, then you may replicate the spell's effect by completing the Cast a Spell activity using the normal number of actions. The replicated spell is automatically heightened to the level of Lesser Maker.   You ignore any trivial material or verbal components of the replicated spell, but if the replicated spell requires a focus or material cost, you must still provide it to cast it.  
  Greater Dragonmark You may cast Lesser Maker up to two times per daily preparation.   Grand Dragonmark You may cast Lesser Maker up to three times per daily preparation.   Siberys Dragonmark You may cast Lesser Maker any number of times per daily preparation.

Siberys Maker

Siberys Maker gains the traits of the selected spell, then you may replicate the spell's effect by completing the Cast a Spell activity using the normal number of actions. The replicated spell is automatically heightened to the level of Siberys Maker.   You ignore any trivial material or verbal components of the replicated spell, but if the replicated spell requires a focus or material cost, you must still provide it to cast it.  
  Heightened (10th) Replicating spells of level 3 or lower do not count against the frequency of Siberys Maker.      

Additional Focus Spells

 

  You may select from among the following focus spells when you gain the Dragonmark Adept feat. If the spell is from a different source, such as a class or archetype, it loses any associated traits and gains the Arcane, Dragonmark, and Mark of Making traits. Note that rarity is maintained, and uncommon spells should be verified with your GM.

Construct Savant

conjurationdragonmarkmark of making   Cast 8 hours; dragonmark (greater), somatic   You begin to craft an item as if using the crafting activity, but with the empowering effects of your dragonmark guiding you, your efficiency is increased exponentially.   When you begin the Crafting activity, you can cast Construct Savant as part of your activity. When you have spent a full day of the Crafting Activity under the effects of Construct Savant, you may immediately make the crafting activity check to complete the item. On a critical success, you can finish the item, bypassing any remaining time to its completion as if you had completed the prerequisite days of work. Otherwise, you may continue on the item again the next day without any penalty. If you use Construct Savant on your last day of work, you instead gain a +1 status bonus to the final crafting check. Once the item is completed, it follows the rules of the crafting activity to reduce cost which Construct Savant may not assist with.   The materials and labor involved in assembling an item satisfy all of the required spell components and casting time of Construct Savant.  
  Siberys Dragonmark The status bonus increases to +2.    

Sibery's Reconstruction
