Automaton
There are many clockwork creations moving through the streets, completing various assigned tasks. It is rare to find a clockwork that can perform more than two or three predetermined tasks. And you will likely never see a true automaton, as creating a fully realized artificial being is illegal, and certainly no one has ever crossed that particular line, and arcana has certainly never imbued the spark of life to an inorganic being... Automatons survive in the city in two ways: blending in with the sophisticated but acceptable clockworks, or going deep into hiding, living on the fringes of society.
