Adall and Arcen

Or "Order and Chaos"

At the rebirth, Adall became. Before this, Yonvri simply existed, and was reborn and reborn, but Adall became and Yonvri's unbreakable cycle of regeneration ended. Adall began structuring Yonvri, forming energy from nothing, forming elements from energy, forming worlds and creatures and all things from the element; He worked with fervor and created many blissful and odious things to fill Yonvri and give Her purpose- yet Adall was not the only one who became at that rebirth.
Arcen was born with Adall, and He was aware as Adall created and ordered Yonvri's existence; He watched as Adall created things great and small, staying outside the fringes of Adall's focus, creating chaos for Adall to discover and order. This constant watching and backing away was not to last, as Arcen got a taste of the glory of twisting and destroying that which Adall made when one of Adall's creatures ventured beyond the order and into the chaos. With this taste, Arcen invaded Adall's reign; chaos ripped into order and Arcen struck fear into those He touched before blasting them into dust or twisting them beyond recognition.
Adall could not stand the chaos, the mutilation of the work He had achieved, and so took upon Himself the task of destroying Arcen. It was not of Adall's making to understand the difficulty of such a task, so when He hurled at Arcen the greatest weapons He had devised for Yonvri, Adall was surprised by how little it phased Arcen- not a single grain of Arcen's swirling presence was out of place. At this obstacle, Adall retreated from Yonvri and pondered how to save His order from Arcen's madness.
As Adall thought on this matter, Arcen felt the absence of His Brother in Yonvri, and so had His way with Her; raping that which was in Her, desolating and deforming the structure of both beauty and nightmare inside Her- Arcen left no ordered form untouched by His mania. So it was that Yonvri experienced death without dying.
Adall in His seclusion came upon the belief that, being Brothers from the same time, only He could harm Arcen. With this thought, Adall returned to Yonvri, to find Her devastated by Arcen, and in His rage tore off a piece of Himself which He threw at Arcen. This piece of Adall, pure Divinity, pierced Arcen's presence, injuring Him, weakening Him, and so began the fight between Yonvri's Companions- Adall ripping pieces of Himself to cut through Arcen, Arcen dodging agilely and destroying what little decorations for Yonvri that Adall made; this was the way of Yonvri for many, many years. So it was that Yonvri experienced sickness without a plague.
Tired of fighting, and wiser from watching the few of His creation that survived Arcen's constant raids, Adall pulled from Himself a formless lump which He molded into a vase, and He proclaimed to Himself, "When Arcen touches this Vase, He will be anchored to Its existence, for so long as It remains unbroken and Yonvri is." Arcen was pleased with this product, but not so with the thought that Arcen could still roam as far as the Vase would allow, so He pulled from Himself another lump which He molded into a lid, and He proclaimed to Himself, "When Arcen enters the Vase, and this Lid is placed over Its mouth, then shall Arcen be trapped between the two, unable to touch Yonvri, for so long as the Lid remains atop the Vase, the Vase remains unbroken, and Yonvri is."
Content with His trap, Adall called to Arcen, "Oh, Brother in Yonvri, come to Me that We may find common ground!" Adall, knowing His Brother's ways, placed around Himself items of perfect order to tempt Arcen to appear; the plan worked, as Arcen saw the symmetry and beauty in the objects, and came forth to destroy them. Adall made Himself invisible to Arcen's focus, and Arcen began instilling chaos in those beautifully ordered creations, unable to resist the glory and thrill of doing so, but no sooner had Arcen touched the Vase to annihilate It than Adall pushed Him inside and covered the mouth of the Vase with the Lid, trapping Arcen within and freeing Yonvri of His loathful presence. So it was that Yonvri experienced rebirth without being reborn.

Summary

Before everything in the current universe happened, the universe (Yonvri) went through a phase of constantly being reborn, until it was reborn and two entities, Adall and Arcen, were created with the rebirth. Adall- who embodies order- created the things in the universe, and Arcen- who embodies chaos- changed and destroyed those things. Eventually, Adall tired of this constant back and forth and pulled off pieces of Himself which He shaped into a Vase and a Lid, between which He trapped Arcen.
