Founding

Fae intervention along with religious tension lead to the shunning of the Ferox, the mainland conquest, and the eventual formation of the Hedoni Empire.

The humans coexisted with boneans in the beginning, that is why there was mixing between races– which lead to the Gyps. But, as time moved on, tensions grew and humans became wary of magic. The races separated and ruled their own people. The Fae needed privacy and resources to get away with their own corruption so they secretly egged on the hedoni leaders to turn on the other boneans. The Fae don’t want to share their access to the gods, so they chose to support the humans– who are nearly powerless when it comes to magic. They don’t care about the humans, but rather think of them as tools that are easy to manipulate.
