Episodes 9-11: Apples, Bees, and Rivers

General Summary

While The Twotees were in combat with the monster under the farm, Delanore Godsen was able to retrieve and send The Twotee's Kinnewago back to them. With that, The Twotees head to the nearby swamp town of Kis Falu to get food at @Apple's & Bees.

At Apple's & Bees, the servers are all humanoid bees. After putting in their orders, The Twotees are met by the owner, Tim Apple. He tells them about his old potato providers, a tortle couple farmers named the Szurkes. He tells them The Szurkes passed away in a fire on the same night their adopted child disappeared. He then asks them to help investigate and alleviate the attacks on his restaurant and town from the river. He offers them 400 gp each AND a comped meal at Appple's & Bees. Just then, the surface water of the swamp surrounding them takes the shape of a snake and pulls one of the annoying drunkards into the water and to his death. The rest of the customers run out of the restaurant as quickly as possible. The Twotees are able to fend of the monster fairly easily, but not without a fairly wet fight. There, The Twotees fought two pillars of water and talked to the humanoid shape the lake had taken, who told them they had existed for at least the last century but has only been able to take human form in the last decade-or-so. After another trecherous trek, The Twotees find themselves face to face with a very tall humanoid lake. This is Jezioro. After an intense battle, which saw Cherry stranded atop a 20-foot tall tower, The Twotees discover reason to believe that this lake has been affected by the same ssesnce that has infected the Staw River and The Big Farm before. As a sympathetic gesture, Bo takes Jezioro's life, turning the lake back to it's original purpose.
