Rockmount
Rockmount is one of bolkaias oldest towns, and had immense history even before the convergence. Established by dwarves in the Age of Creation in the northernmost part of Bolus (what is now known as northern Lornia), Rockmount was an industrial mining powerhouse of creation.
In 1682 BC, a dwarven miner named Malgon Stoneheart unearthed the second of Bolus' 'Entanglements', pockets of concentrated weave placed by asgoreth, as a sort of chaotic magical fuel. Intruiged by this strange substance, Malgon placed his hand into this energy and was instantaniously obliterated. The only remnant of Malgon that remained was his pick, which he had dropped to investigate the energy.
Three days after Malgon was meant to return from his expedition a search party found his pick, and the swirling mass of arcane power. After losing one more over-curious Dwarf, the city of rockmount began to use the entanglement to power a variety of technologies.
A rapid spike in technological development lead to Rockmount growing to incredible size, forming a rich diverse culture that would be swept out beneath the citizen's feet in an instant.
The convergence burried all of rockmount deep beneath the earth. Lost to the sands of time.
Many of the citizens were killed in the chaos of the convergence, and the terror of the age of dragons. The various ages and destructive events cause Rockmount to never return to it's former glory.
In the current day, Rockmount sits as a small quiet mining town in the north of Lornia, a culture lost to time. The denizens of Rockmount feel no inclination to dig up the buried remains of their former glory, as it would cost too much for the town to risk.
