Jinxed Palismans

In short, Dominique Roseberg and their niece, Callista Roseberg, worked together to break into the Emperor's castle. There, Dominique had Callista keep the guards busy with some crazy antics (i.e., illusion spells and random bard spells that caused the guards to start singing harmoniously). At the same time, Dominique ran off to find the room where the palismans were being held.   According to some of the guards, the palismans were acting strange around the time the pranks began, like they knew what was going to happen. The palismans broke out of their store room and headed for the first signs of trouble. The guards that saw this happening claim that the palismans appeared jinxed or hexed from the way they were acting.
