Common and Informal Currencies

Formal currencies:
The Metallic kingdom refers to their currency as Crowns, with the following name conversions:
1 PP =Royal Crown (Final Crown, Star Piece, Queen's crown/piece)
1 GP = Crown (Gold Crown, sun piece)
1 EP = Half Crown
1 SP = Tenth Crown (Moon Piece, Silver eye(s))
1 CP = Crown Shard (Cooper nib, lesser piece)
The Chromatic Kingdoms name their pieces after the class that uses them most:
1 PP = Emperor
1 GP = Noble
1 EP = Knight
1 SP = Merchant
1 CP = Commoner
The Fey Kingdom names their pieces after the animal branded on them:
1 PP = Dragon
1 GP = Griffon
1 EP = Lion
1 SP = Hawk
1 CP = Bear
The Wildlands has no formal currency but will trade goods and services instead. A common practice is a Blood Note, an arrangement or an IOU written on a piece of paper and stamped on the bottom with a drop of blood and a signature.
The Fallen Kingdoms will often trade but have invented a form of currency where motes of wild magical energy (referred to as thrams) is stored in small metal rings that hold a band of powdered crystal in them. The color of the crystal changes with the amount of energy inside, and therefore shows the worth. These rings are very difficult to make, and therefore have high exchange rates. High level mages (Lv. 8+) can use the energy of these rings to cast known spells without using a spell slot but will use the magic and cause the crystal to be clear. They also roll on the wild magic surge table when they use one.
Purple Crystal- 6th level Spell- 70 PP
Red Crystal- 5th level Spell- 40 PP
Amber Crystal- 4th level Spell- 25 PP
Blue Crystal- 3rd level Spell- 10 PP
Yellow Crystal- 2nd level Spell- 3 PP
Green Crystal- 1st level Spell- 5 GP
Clear Crystal- no magic- 1 SP
The Dark Kingdom has no currency, for there is no living being within its borders able to buy or sell. However, it used to be part of the Chromatic Kingdom, and therefore used its currency.
Informal currencies:
In Human Kingdoms, Dragon Scales are a common trading material with merchants, adventurers, and armorers, due to their uses in potions and armors. The Chromatic Kingdom offer the highest price for dragon scales, with most merchants going around 1 GP per scale.
In Elvish and Fey kingdoms, Chocolate is highly valuable due to the low amount of coco producing plants, and many Elves will pay handsomely per ounce. However, Elves have refined pallets and tend to only buy the highest quality product and may refuse anything less exotic. Coffee, however, is considered illegal due to being considered a drug, leading to a large back market in for it in the Fey Kingdoms. A pound of quality coffee can often be sold for over $2,000 GP. Most Elven nobles drink coffee.
In the Wildlands, one of the most common and accepted trades is compressed salt disks, each worth about 1 EP, and about 1 in in diameter. Spices, grains, and Vials of Honey also are consistently used, although worth may vary more.
In the Fallen Kingdoms, Common Trade items include Obsidian Disks (1 EP), Textiles, Grain, and even old coins from before the Fall.
Exchange rates: Depends on the merchant, but most will offer the value divided by 1d4 for foreign currency, with the exception of the wildlands.
