Marprimay 2024 - Igniting
A true artist is not one who finds inspiration;
but one who inspires others.
My review of the last three months
I don't want to apply the above-mentioned quote from the greatest surrealist of all time to myself. It represents the many wonderful Anvilites who have offered an unofficial challenge over the last three months, thereby "ignited" inspiration in many of us. I took part in 12 of the 14 challenges and was able to expand Elaqitan a bit.
There was also AdventureApril, for which I wrote a little story for my two adventurers in Naharin, which follows on from the haunted story from last October. In the end, all participants received 13,956 words, 16 drawings including 2 maps and 11 badges.
Mochimonaban's great iceberg challenge call inspired me to redesign my Elaqitan world meta. For this purpose, I adapted an articel-category to my liking for the first time and picked out a few components of the WorldAnvil meta suggestions. In the future, the category will contain a sub-article for each element with a respective mini-meta and my inspirations. Based on my WorldEmber 2023 promise, I have put together the first mini-meta for the earth-element and linked an overview of all the important, supporting and "fun" articles.
And if that wasn't enough, I drew some frames for the quotes and horizontal lines for Elaqitan. This means that a major goal of my annual promise has been fulfilled, which I am very happy about. Over the next few months I will gradually incorporate the frames and lines into the articles and add the new borders here and there to old articles.
Selection of my favorite challenge participations
If you haven't seen my articles yet, here is a compilation of my favorite articles that I am really proud of and that I would particularly recommend to you.

My favorite community articles:
Many of you have also made plenty of use of the challenges and your badge treasure chest
expanded by a few pieces. Here are a few articles that I particularly enjoyed.
Be careful, behind this article from AsterVela there are cute baby dragons that you just want to cuddle. But what makes these species special: they are probably the only dragons, at least that I know, that build nests and have developed this into a small culture. Really worth reading.
The use of candles for magical purposes is certainly nothing new. But wouldn't you also think it would be great if you lit a candle that would do your household chores or take you on an adventure e.g. underwater? In this wonderful little article from J. Ables you can place your order . Very inspiring.
I would love to reserve a spot and let myself be enchanted by the romantic atmosphere in this butterfly restaurant from anc789sims. A wonderful place that you must visit - be sure to read the guest reviews as they really make this place come alive.
Are you also looking for inspiration on how to write articles about continents? Then you should definitely read this very informative article from notahumanhand. The author not only goes into the nature of the continent, but also shows a wonderful overview of the countries and the political climate, all garnished with wonderful country flags.
The following article by Nightone takes you into a beautiful, albeit tragic, love story that later became a play. Be sure to read the words in the language of the elves - simply fantastic.
Behind this little article from Thereasonwhy are goblins who feel most comfortable when their clothing allows them to merge with nature and their surroundings. Learn a little more about the style of these goblins, which the author has accompanied with many adorable drawings
Aaah! Thank you for including my article on dragons in your list. <3 Congrats on so many challenges completed so far this year and growing your world!
It was a pleasure to meet your dragons and thank you for your lovely comment.
