Blood of the Sun

Oc ye nechca, hundreds of years after the defeat of the Spaniards, when magic flowed back into the lands stronger than before, the people of Cemanahuac are in the final year of the 676 year cycle. As religious and royal officials prepare for the New Fire Ceremony, a sacred ritual which sustains the Sun every 52 years and prevents the destruction of the world, forces of chaos scheme. The influx of magic has caused the wildlife to mutate and aggressively spread throughout the lands. A great power is on the verge of returning and threatens to destroy all of creation. The fate of the world rests in the hands of the Tonapilli: five powerful demigods wielding the elemental powers of creation. If these heroes are to save the world, they must battle monsters, political corruption, magicians, and the gods themselves.
