Lode
The rank of a family, leading a village in The Lodestone. It is a ritualistically given rank awarded to the settlement heads by tradition. It's origin tails back to the creation of The Lodestone about a thousand years ago. The Divine Entity Tezcatlipoca turned the entire realm into a magically corrupted land, veiled in beauty and vibrant colors. He designated the rank of "Lode" way back at the start of his ruling.
