The Gnomes, Dwarves, and Halflings.

Describe the largest diaspora in your world. Why did they leave their homeland?   The Gnomes are the largest diaspora. They left their homeland simply because they felt it was time to go their own seperate ways and explore the world. The Gnomes were created by Gildergash, a God. They were created in the divine realm of their Gods and lived there for a time before they started to become too much like the Gods and the line between Creation and God was becoming heavily blurred. So with a heavy heart Gildergash put them into a deep sleep, then Eldergras cast them out of their divine realm and placed them in the material plane. For the Gnomes of Bli'zzt, they woke up on a continent created special for them. The Gnomes called it Gil in reverence for their creator. Before the Gnomes went their seperate ways to explore the continent made for them, the Gods revealed themselves to the Gnomes and told them where they came from and how deeply they loved them and how sad they were when they had to send them away. Most of them were over joyed they came from such divine and lovely people, others were not so happy. They felt hurt and angered to be abandoned by their Gods, the people who created them. They rejected their Gods and went their way, they mined deep into the earth to get as far from their Gods and out of their observance as possible. They become the Deep Gnomes and named themselves the "Svirfneblin", meaning "the Ostracized" the two other groups of Gnomes went off to explore the forests and hills, becoming the Forest and Rock Gnomes. Some rock gnomes mined deep into the earth and constructed holds in the mountains and hills, becoming the Hill and Mountain Dwarves. Some Dwarves made their holds in the deserts, becoming the Kaladesh Dwarves. Some Forest Gnomes explored the plains after a very long time, becoming the Halflings.
