Entimeneus, the Tempest

Entimeneus is the direct opposition to Meneus, reflected in his name. Where Meneus is the storage of all knowledge, Entimeneus is the destroyer of what is already known. He is the harbinger of chaos, and his creation spurted forth the elemental chaos that would go on to form the lesser realms. Entimeneus extends the hand of chaos to the lesser realms from his home plane of Serez, where he roams the endless sea in combat with great powerful beings. The combination of his desire for chaos and his connection to the storms of Serez have earned him the title of The Tempest. Some philosophers and priests state that his association with chaos is a misunderstanding of some greater divine goal that is simply to complex and multilayered for mortals of limited capacity to understand. Much to the annoyance of those same scholars, Entimeneus rarely visits if ever the lesser realms, seeing very little purpose to. Many individuals will often claim to be Entimeneus visiting the earth although many are disproven before being arrested or killed. Hence, nobody is entirely sure what his physical manifestation would actually look like, as nor has anyone ever survived the seas of Serez to encounter him.   Because Entimeneus has no known goal, there are very few missions of him. Those that do appear are usually dedicated to discovering what his purpose is, or merely trying to extend his chaos. Individual missions across history have claimed to have discovered his goals, although none survive for very long. Churches of Entimeneus tend towards worshipping the chaos he produces, or the storms which he conjure. The most famous one of his churches is Storm Herald Citadel, a grand castle where members congregate a few times per year to witness the great tropical storms that funnel immense magical energy into the enormous lightning rod at the top of the citadel.
