The
Sixth langauge is the name of a hypothetical lost language in
Frasfu. Its origins are unclear, its script is unique, and no known language belongs to the same family. And since there are no recorded speaker, this makes Runese a near-impossible langauge to decipher. The name of the language comes from that fact that it seems to be somehow related to the Six Wills, a set of magical ancient relics.
The script
The script is the only part of the language that has been studied. It can be assumed that the script is some kind of alphabet, since there's a high degree of repetition among different texts. However, it could also be an abugida or an abjad. It has been found mainly carved on stone, but some of its characters have rounded lines, which suggests that carving wasn't the main method of recording the script.
Origins
The Sixth language is not the only lost language in the planet, but it is the only one whose origin and historical context is unknown. This is surprising, given that the script has been found carved in ruins all over the continent. This might mean that it was once used as a global vehicular languages, but since no documents other than schoarly treatises mention it, it might have been some sort of secret code.
The language was already extinct and forgotten when the first libraries were built in
Han Guo, over two millenia ago. The language was already the subject of several theories, and few advancements have been made since then. The wildest theories suggest that it's the language of some god that lived on the continent before going to the Above, wile more serious ones simply point to some kind of primitive secret code. Whatever the case may be, the Sixth language will remain a mystery for time to come.
