Ambush near Crakehall
The Conflict
Prelude
Lord Paramount Rolland Reyne arranged a hunting trip between himself and most of his bannermen, en route to the hunting party Lord Jonos Crakehall and his party were ambushed by men at the service of Ser Forley Swyft.
Deployment
Lord Jonos sent 10 of his guards as a advanced party and kept the remaining 25 by him and his family.
The Mad Clucker placed some of his bowmen in the woods.

The conflict happened a few hours ride from castle Crakehall, in a place where the woods are densest
The Engagement
The knights under the command of the Mad Clucker first engaged the advanced party and dressed in their surcoats, they then advanced towards the Crakehall party, before the knights charged the bowmen hidden in the woods started shooting at the Crakehall guards, sowing confusion before the charging knights came. During the battle the Mad Clucker slew Lord Crakehall in a duel after slaying his son. The victory of the outlaw forces was complete, with the only survivors in the Crakehall party being Leonette Crakehall, Lord Jonos's maiden daughter, and two guards that were spared to take the girl back home.
Outcome
With the death of Lord Jonos his oldest living son Ser Clarent Crakehall became lord. The attack caused fear among many lords of the Westerlands and tensions between the supporters of the Targaryen family and the Blackfyres increased.
