Bioluminescent

Keeta, a Christian and autistic demigirl, ventures out from faer stomping grounds (a forest of whimsically bioluminescent tree-sized mushrooms) and the comfort of faer routine to explore the abandoned underground city of Arine with faer close friends, Axl (a young historian) and Frog (a budding botanist). Along the way, they discover more species of giant fungi, learn more about the history of the once-great Arinean Kingdom, and taste the fruits of the Arineans' advanced agricultural practices. But there is more discomfort than just being out of routine, as Keeta struggles to reconcile faer identity with faer Christian faith.
