The Emperor's Assassin

Gunther was born in a small town called "Marsh Town" in what was formerly known as the "Swamp Kingdom" and his family were a well established family of merchants in the kingdom selling jewelry for many nobles, princes or princesses and with a side business of setting up weddings and selling wedding rings and ect. over the years he would travel across the northern region of Samora and while his time in Qualzonia he saw the great progress of the growing empire and would later found a rebel organization to fight against his own kingdom and was well funded by the Qualzonian government with weapons, armor and provisions needed to combat their own kingdom. It was at the battle in capital city where Gunther would save the life of King Maximus from an arrow by pushing him out of the way, and after the battle he was well respected and favored by the now called Emperor, Maximus and would be promoted to general for his great leadership skills and for his brave actions of saving the Emperor from death.   Over the years as a general he would be assigned with conquering many archipelagos on behalf of the growing Empire, and would later found the Imperial Investigation Bureau and the more secret order of the Jaguites who have vowed loyalty to the Emperor and vow to make the world bow before the Emperor no matter the cost. When an assassination attempt on the Emperor's life nearly kills him, crippling him, Gunther and his Jaguites would begin an operation to wipe out all terrorist organizations who pose a threat to the Emperor and successfully do so, wiping out the "Elfans for Freedom" who were Elfanland patriots, the "Iceman" who were rebel soldiers from the Ice Kingdom, the remnant of "The Royal Troll Guard" who were the remaining loyalists of the Swamp King's personal royal guard, and would even wipe out his fellow generals who almost began coups over the years.   When the Qualzonian Empire became ambitious enough to fight the Paradinians, he was assigned personally by the Emperor himself to oversee the entire campaign and that he was second to the Emperor. He was very successful in his campaign during the first few years but would later have trouble when the Egydians had arrived with their magi and so he would later have a conscript of Fire Magi to combat the Egydians sorcerers and their armies. He was also the ambassador to the Palpatanians and would convince them to engage a war with the Egydians in order for them to back away from Paradine and would also send spies to Weskonia to grow distrust of the Tsar. After all of this he would then capture the north eastern territories of the Paradine Kingdom but would have to end his campaign when the Paradinians offered a peace treaty which pleased the Emperor enough, and Gunther would now also become a governor over the north eastern region within Paradine.   With the Emperor now reaching near the end of his life from old age he had begun to order Gunther to find an ancient artifact called the "Medallion of Eternal Life" to give the Emperor eternal life, and during his search Gunther would hear rumours of an ancient secret order of Knights who are very knowledgeable of artifacts of this sort and what convinced him to find the order is that this order was founded by Jager the Brave himself and hoped they would be friend and not foe, but if they are to become enemies of the empire he will make sure they will cease to exist by all means necessary...
