Kraftfahrzeug 2 - Kfz2
This small 4-seater general-purpose vehicle was the first attempt at standardizing Wehrmacht vehicles, up until this time the Wehrmacht had used civilian vehicles converted to a military role instead of purpose built military vehicles. Designed in 1934 and manufactured in 1936, with an AW2 or RISOW 4-cylinder OHV petrol engine that provides 50 bhp of power. The transmission had five forward gears and one reverse, with the basic 4x4 design. A canvas hood was used as a roof that clipped to the doorframes.
