Bayonet Charge
The character has received military training in the use of a fixed bayonet.
Benefit: The character can make attacks with a fixed bayonet (eg: fixed to the rifle) at no penalty. A bayonet not fixed to a rifle is covered as a dagger.
Special: As a full round action the character can make a Bayonet Charge. The character performs a charge towards his intended target (gaining +2 to the attack roll and –2 to defence for the charge, for more details see the d20 Modern Role-playing Game: Combat: Actions in Combat: Charge). The character then performs an attack against the target with the bayonet; if successful the damage dice are doubled. If the attack results in a critical, the damage dice are tripled, and the defender must pass an opposed strength check or fall prone.
Normal: Without this feat attacks with a fixed bayonet are treated as an improvised weapon.
