In the abyss of emptiness, the Spider, daughter of nothingness and matter, plucks the strings of her cosmic harp with the tips of her legs. Her melody shapes and distorts destiny, in a constant state of eternal change. She was made a disciple of the Light, and through her labor in its honor, the Egg of Wonders was born. Her star-entangled web stretches beyond the
Cieux, and through her schemes souls sail to strange places.
With its countless legs, the Spider weaves and knots the lives of mortals, inscribing their paths on the great canvas of providence. It neither judges nor condemns, but shapes, letting the Light illuminate the paths it traces. However, its threads are neither on the side of good nor evil, bringing hope to some, instruments of constraint to others, for no one can escape the tangle of destiny it dictates.
During Fleeting Times, the
Spider of the Cosmic Web, weaver of fate and muse of the stars, peacefully tuned her celestial harp. Every vibration of her legs upon the starry filaments resonated with the secret harmonies of the universe, until the voice of the One and Only God, echoing through the endless void, shattered this serenity.
In His infinite mercy and unfathomable wisdom, God made His will known: an egg, a perfect catalyst, must be forged. For if it were to manifest without this sacred vessel, its divine splendor, too intense for the eyes of the living, would annihilate those it sought to protect. The Spider, humble servant, accepted this burden gravely, her many legs ceasing their melodies to devote themselves to a task of unparalleled complexity.
Thus, upon the Cosmic Web, she wove not mere threads, but the very essence of the heavens and stars. Every glimmer, every fragment of light, was carefully intertwined to form a pure and indestructible cocoon:
The Egg of Ascendant Metamorphosis. Bearing within it the promises of incarnate light, it became the bridge between the immaterial and the tangible, a work where both divine compassion and the immeasurable artistry of the weaver resided.
Within the Yaldem Telae, rumor has it that the
Egg of Wonders was not the first to hatch under the paws of the Cosmic Web Spider. They even claim that other eggs were born, imperfect, deformed anomalies. These flabby eggs are said to be called the First Nymphs, and to contain stunted, hatched embryos, failed and aborted attempts to form the body of God. Scholars claim that the Spider destroyed these imperfect attempts until, by dint of accharnement, the
Egg of Wonders came to fruition. The myth of the first eggs remains taboo and is denied by the Rays of the Lord, who claim that Yaldem Telae's cult is nothing but profanation and blasphemy. Although hunted down and put to the sword, followers are said to have found buried frescoes in their temple depicting a miriad of broken eggs lodged in the heart of a bloody web. These relics suggest that the Egg of Wonders may be just the latest in a series of experiments.
This is so beautifully written and I think it's great that you've brought a spider to life, which metaphorically weaves the stars of the universe together with its threads. I also like the myths about the lost eggs and I'm very excited to see if we learn more about them. A very mythical world and I'm glad to have been your first follower.
Ooooh thank you so much for your kind words ! As I translate all my articles (i'm french), I was afraid I wouldn't be able to explain my ideas properly and I wouldn't be able to convey the atmosphere I wanted to create. Your feedback is very reassuring thanks ! (^-^)
