Synzimi
A common agrotian dish that is made as an efficient way to make use of the crops harvested across the nation. Also called a harvest pastry, people come from across the continent to try them out.
Manufacturing process
The pastry shell is made through combining wheat flour with butter into a crumbly dough that is rolled and folded onto itself. The vegetables are roasted over a fire, with the spices added halfway through. The roasted vegetables are then folded into the dough before being baked together into the synzimi.
Raw Materials & Components
Synzimi are made up of a pastry shell made with wheat flour and a filling made of an assortment of roasted vegetables and spices. Common vegetables include zucchini, eggplant, onion, peppers, and tomatoes. Sometimes, potatoes can be used as well despite not being vegetables. When eaten at the table, versus in the field, synzimi are also usually eaten with one of a few different dipping sauces, including a yogurt-dill sauce, a spicy-brined cheese dip, or even a simple olive oil mix.

Most Agrotian houses have an in-house oven made of local muddy clay mixed with hay that the pastries are baked in. The vegetables are roasted over the fire pit that most Agrotians have in their main living-area.
Significance

Outside of Agrotia, people view synzimi as a symbol of idyllic, agrarian Agrotian culture, with many coming to the country to try the food, or trying learn how to make their own as a way to emulate what they think Agrotian life looks like.
