The Scarlet Bride

The Scarlet Bride is the Archdemon and would-be Goddess of debauchery and bloodshed. In her truest form, the Bride represents excess of both pleasure and pain, and her followers often choose to explore these themes through acts of violence and hedonism, often in combination. While she by no means requires it, many of her cult make sacrifices in her name and her beloved children, the vampires, often relish in the carnage their gifted strength allows them to inflict upon mortals.    That said, the Bride has little interest in founding a self-extinguishing murder cult. She's generally considered one of the more reasonable Archdemons in the hellish planes, often honouring the spirit of demonic bargains made rather than the strict wording and treating her most loyal followers as her precious children. Her blessing is also not reserved only for vampires or those inflicting bloodshed in her name either, as she's also been known to hand it out to soldiers, surgeons and butchers alike. For the Bride, to shed blood in any form is a sacred act and pleases her greatly.   Similarly, her interest in debauchery goes beyond simple hedonistic excess and one who engages in their chosen indulgences in moderation can certainly earn the Bride's favour without losing themselves in the process. Her chosen few include nightlife workers, chefs, drug users and celebrities, people who often go above and beyond normal societal sensibilities in the name of pleasure.   While she created every strain of vampirism through her own experimentation with deific power, Patronage of Succubi was something that she inherited after deposing the Demonic Prince Asmodeus along with the other Usurper Kings and Queens and taking her share of his deific essence. Upon rising to power, she made a firm ally in the form of Lilith XXI, the Queen of Succubi, and has served as their Archdemon mistress ever since, considering them her adopted children alongside her vampires.
