Session 137: Scallywags: The Voidshard Reversal

General Summary

Wulfgar hovers in the darkness, magic enveloping him, his concentration set on a continued earthquake in front of his position for about 200 feet. Wizards fumble, fall into fissures about him, and some are able to escape and crawl away. Many, though, choose to stay. The promise of power too enticing.

Magic gets conjuring, thrown and ignited, and wulfgar protects himself as best as he can, thankfully Nethpione's flying transmutation maintains throughout the onslaught, but he sees in the distance more challenge and rise: fantatical paladins and knights, dragonkin mayhaps too, and then few giants--they all yell out orders and followings to Jhusve's claim. The promise from the Queen must have been rich.

But she is grappled, she is pinned. She Mila has her in dire grip. Other mages arrive, to aid her, and her solemn stare to Mila only hints to how she will not back down and that she is not as afraid as she should be. Spells fly, and counter, and eventually the Queen escapes in a flutter of mist and time distortion, and she leaves many of her followers and mages behind: to face Ilknar, and the others. However, Orran is able to keep a track, a divine trail to the queen's step opens up, and the group, at Mila's magical hand, teleports again back to the Conduit of Threev, to reinforce Wulfgar, and thwart the Queen's magical flanking maneuver.

Lady Sasha breaks away, and consumes draconic hearts, and by the time her sense are her own again, it is just her, Ollie, and Nethpione versus another three dozen fanatical followers of Jhusve. With a mix of desperation and guile, they distract the brunt of the Queen's forces, but still a small group continue to run west to her aid. With that, Sasha flies off with Nethpione, and pangs of mutation and primordial power flow through the yuanti; she is forced to land prematurely, still many feet from the Queen and the rest of the group.
