Session 133: Scallywags: Anti-Magic Grapplers
General Summary
They are engaged on three sides: Lady Sasha and the Taeilian Lion, Ilknar and Mila versus alchemist and wizardesses far to the north, and Brimstone, Wulfgar, and Orran versua half dozen knights, dragoons who are loyal to the Queen's Forces, and a dozen or so orc sword dancers, seemingly escorting the Queen through these beastial lands. Lady Sasha is forced into a tenuous alliance to fell the draconic golem next to them; Mila and Ilknar attack illusions, and fade back towards a running Queen, towards the orc--undead monstrosity--that Brimstone fights near the lagoon's waters, where he ignites his fists in radiant light to prove the orcish followers the queen is nothing more than darkness, not to be trusted, a necromancer. They soon escape northward.
Other knights must defend themselves, as the confusion created by Orran only shows them the need to follow when the Queen arrives south of them. She tries to escape, but grapplers and antimagic fields keep her in the dirt, disarm her, and force her to fight for her life. Her allies do aid, and the pummel, slice, and attempt to paralyze Wulfgar, allies, and enemies. Soon the dwarf falls.
Meanwhile, the Lion just roars with glee, begging for worthy fight, disappointed and impressed with Sasha all at the same time, but writhing with anticipation, it starts to bite and claw any of those with in reach, wanting the chaos and blood to continue to increase.
Again, they move, and Mila drags the Queen in to the waters, while Ilknar rails down lightning blows, and Sasha takes a slight breather--Orran aiding her in a repositioning. Brimstone faces off against he Orc leader and loyalits, the queen is her reason to be alive now. A life debt has been made. Yet, Sasha forces the lion to the ground, and Mila puts the Queen's face in the mud just after her arcane flare. Her chosen is inert, her simulacrum overwhelmed, and she soon to be drowning. Orran takes Wulfgar away, and heals him, while Sasha forces the lion to the ground, its mane almost as its own noose.
