Session 120: Scallywags: Relief, Finally, in South Ireef

Members of the Topsy Turvy, Ruthgar, Maarvel, Swamperson, come over and ask for aid. Close with Mila's past, she sends them back to safety, taking her father Pojin with them so that he can rest somewhere at least somewhat safe. Dosgratin and Teyos, as well as Pemi, join them. 
It is here that Mila notices Cody standing off to the side with Orran, and she immediately questions him of his reasonings, yes, for being here, but also for why he assisted Ioomore's rise. Cody hints to coercion and admittance, and Orran senses that Cody would act very differently were the sides to be turned: he is an opportunist, like many of the Grey Coasts, through and through. Mila will talk to him later, and Orran promises to help Cody escape through means with the Roland's Gambit back on the Regent Isles. 

Mila will return to the Topsy Turvy later, for, for now, she will need to ensure all the heads that need to be smashed will be smashed, so South Ireef can again maintain is eccentric peace without this strange necromantic nor transmutation arcana. 

Lady Sasha helps with this same goal, too, but she is also looking for connections to the draconic ancestry that flows within her veins. She seeks dragon organs, a heart to be sure, that plasma-like essence of elemental gain. She is assisted in part by Mila and Ilknar, but Ilknar's main focus is on arming the militia, the followers around him, the resistance of South Ireef. He finds a shipment of Mithral arms and armor to supply the group, and one of Ioomore more precious items: a spider staff. They begin to claim the city again. Finally relief from Ioomore's experiments and tyranny. 

Ilknar then takes his might and size to advantage, and with a simple thaumaturgy spell, he yells, and finds the militia following him inside after his proclamation of freedom and choice, of a Citadel for the People. The charge takes over every nook and cranny of the Citadel of South Ireef. The rooms from top to bottom are broken into and claimed for the people. This leaves just one room remaining: the bedchambers of Ioomore. His mistress and servant remain inside. 

Meanwhile, Orran finds Lady Saerah on the look out for Aikhon, so they can find a scroll of commune during all this chaos. She wishes to know her future with Ilknar, and Orran and Aikhon, after a long afternoon, find a scroll hidden in some odd trunk of an old towered mansion of South Ireef. She agrees to later cast the spell when Ilknar can see the radiance of their future. 

Brimstone takes this time to check up on the people, to Pojin and Teyos. Then he follows the militia into the Citadel. There he helps gather the servants and followers of the building. 

Here, they all hear and listen to Ilknar's thunder and roar from above, and most of the militia disperses to lower levels. Mila, Brimstone, Lady Sasha eventually join Ilknar upstairs as he attempts to parlay with the ladies. At first there is no response, but then the slider, smaller door opens, and the ladies speak. With this, Mila misty steps within, Ilknar follows with a dimension door, and Brimstone shakes the foundations with a thunder step so that they all can find their way inside. With this, the ladies scream, and they react with magic to charm and confuse, but these scallywags are unaffected. Mila then convinces the main lady, the mistress, with the aid of Brimstone's zone of truth, to understand how they play into the participation of this. Their loyalty gets the better of them. A chase eventually ensures. 

Orran returns to the ship, and Wulfgar maintains the infirmary.
