Session 119: Scallywags: Ioomore, No More?
General Summary
Brimstone arrives, blazing with radiant light. With this, the fear fades, and they harden themselves against the magics and other questionable saves. Yet, Lady Sasha notices Ilknar is about to be ambushed by a group invisible. He can react in time. He slams down, and shocks through them, killing a few in the process and then destabilizing others.
Mila continues to hold a minotaur to the ground, an gnome mage born of rage. She stays near Pojin to keep his reinforce his constitution with her arcane weaves and knowledges of Barur. Sasha just continues to wail and attack. First to the assistance to Ioomore from some strange golem abomination, and then to focus on the Master himself. However, the master is able to disengage, but he cannot hide nor run from the persistance of the paladin Brimstone.
Ilknar holds his own against the ambush, destroying a few demons and other casters it the process, those trying to paralyze and control his mind and body.
The Mascot of South Ireef walks forward, and faces off against constructs summoned by Mila. A fireball wreaks from afar, and still are Pojin's swings against them both.
Ilknar is almost charmed, but again, Orran manipulates the enchantment with his own Fey prowress. With this, the others focus in on the remaining minotaur, golem, and casters while Brimstone chases down Ioomore, who has found more golems to siphon into his own power. Once felled, Brimstone then uses Ioomore's body as a club against the last golem nearby. A mage as a magical mace.
The group then reconvenes, while Wulfgar summons a divine essence to heal all but the the most minor wounds. The Rebellion ends. The Tyrant is dead. The aftermath ensues. While distracted, Lady Sasha takes the mages heart from his mangled chest, and bites it down, blood seeping below lips and down her neck. At first that his all she sees and tastes, but then, after a few moments, there is a vision of a new form awaking, breaking through a tube of glass. Then, before he slumps out, the reflections shows that Ioomore lives again.
