Session 105: Animaesus and Tarrasques: The Last Sylvan of the Lands Leaves the Storm of Vengeance
General Summary
The Jourvian leadership gives charge, and cannons fire from behind them. Yet, Kaly's fear takes hold, and she calls out to Tenebris have his aid, his union. He transforms into a goristro, but today, not one of destruction but that of a savior. He picks up his three children, and that of Aether, too, and he comes to Kaly, using his demonic bulk as cover for the wounded and frightened group.
Hundreds of feet away, Amu, Pio, and in a way, Gorgmongr, press the western front, but when Amu aims one of his most powerful spells towards one of the Jourvians, it is nullified by the creatures bulk and presence. This puts Amu at a stop, and he turns to survey the battlefield, only to find Tenebris, Kaly, and their entourage escaping by use of a powerful conjuration, a teleportation circle back to the City of Salt itself, back to a place of peace, where they had cookies and food within the 13th House just a few nights beforehand. Amu sees this as a direct evidence to have him and Pio get out of here, so he transforms to a giant eagle, and he grabs his brother and then Gorgmongr too, so they can escape.
Yet, not just yet, the dwarves and primordials give chase after the eagles, and Amu and the others must use all their skills, magical, beastial, and sylvan, in order to escape. They find some rolling hills, and a place to rest and reconvene. They begin to discuss, and are almost found once by the surviving dwarves, they decide to split. Grary, Jhir, and Gorgmongr will follow the dwarves north, and they will slow the Jourvians down, ensure they do not rest, with Jhir focusing on rallying the Animaesus, finally, maybe, against the incoming invasion. Amu and Pio, they will travel south, as fast and as far as they can go, and they will ensure no other dwarves, no Jourvians, will come again to the Lands of the Animaesus.
Tenebris and Kaly, they are given all they can to these lands and this city. The pressure is too high, the marut will come again, and Kaly almost just died. Thus, Tenebris decides to leave with Kaly, and they will travel the planes, finding their own home, elsewhere.
