The 10 Eyed

Once, before this time there was a benevolent creature ruling the land. It watched over the many creatures of this land with its 10 eyes. It saw injustice and turned it rightfully, it saw the pain of the creatures and brought them comfort and when it saw the sleepless creatures it clouded the sun with its glittering black coat so that all could sleep in peace.

But one day a creature of equal strength challenged the guardian. Their fight lasted days and in the end the challenger scratched out the guardians eye. And as he fell the new creature took its place as the guardian of the land.
