Ambush: When attacking from surprise, the creature gains a bonus to its Initiative, Attack, and Damage tests equal to their Rank in this ability. This power cannot be combined with Surprise Strike.
  Charge: The creature may move up to twice its Movement and make a single attack. If the creature moves at least 20 yards, it gains a bonus to its Attack and Damage tests equal to the Rank of this ability. This ability may not be used when the creature has a rider.
  Enhanced Sense: This ability grants the creature various improved senses. A parenthetical number is the bonus granted to any Awareness tests using the associated sense, or any other abilities listed in the description. Adepts with the Borrow Sense talent may target these senses individually, gaining all associated bonuses to a particular sense. The basic use of Borrow Sense may only target hearing, sight, smell, taste, and touch. Senses listed as [Other] require more powerful magic to be targeted.
  Great Leap: A creature may leap a distance in yards equal to this rank as a part of their normal movement. The distance is divided between the horizontal and vertical distance leaped.
  Resist Pain: The creature ignores penalties for Wounds equal to the Rank of this ability. For example, a creature with Resist Pain (2) ignores the penalties from the first two Wounds suffered.
  Willful: Talents and abilities used to dominate, control, tame or train the creature require additional successes equal to the Rank of this ability.
  Common Maneuvers
Clip the Wing: The attacker may spend two additional successes from an Attack test to remove the creature’s ability to fly until the end of the next round. If the attack causes a Wound, the creature cannot fly until the Wound is healed. If the creature is in flight, it falls and suffers falling damage for half the distance fallen.
  Enrage: An opponent may spend additional successes from an Attack test to give a -1 penalty to the creature’s Attack tests and Physical Defense until the end of the next round. Multiple successes may be spent for a cumulative effect.
  Overrun: The creature may spend an additional success from an Attack test to force an opponent with a lower Strength Step to make a Knockdown test against a DN equal to the Attack test result.
    Pounce: If the creature reaches its opponent with a leap and the opponent isn’t too much larger, the creature may spend an additional success from the Attack test to force the opponent to make a Knockdown test against a DN equal to the Attack test result.
  Provoke: The attacker may spend two additional successes from an Attack test to enrage the creature and guarantee he will be the sole target of the creature’s next set of attacks. Only the most recent application of this maneuver has any effect.
  Mount Training
You need a minimum of rank 3 in Animal Training to tame a wild creature (to have it Trained). It need to be at least Friendly (Animal Bond). It takes 1 week of training for a mount to be riding Trained (1 month with the skill).
  You need a minimum of rank 6 in Animal Training to Combat Train a riding Trained mount. It need to be at least Loyal (Animal Bond). It takes 1 month for it to be Combat Trained (3 months with the skill).
