Yesis, The Red Serpent god
Yesis is a deity born from a rare and dangerous moment, the first and only time Mardros, goddess of Nature, felt true anger. Her fury manifested as Yesis, a colossal red serpent with antlers, embodying raw destruction. Realizing the devastation he could bring to her beloved Jascana, Mardros exiled him. Centuries later, a cult in the age of Novakuzran resurrected Yesis, allowing him to rule from the Valley of Snakes (now the site of Hugo City) with thousands of devoted cultists and even elven followers. His reign ended when Hugo “The Conqueror” Ironbrawn I and his dwarven army overwhelmed him through brutal tactics. Yesis now lies sealed deep beneath the Novakuzran International Commerce Establishment, slumbering, waiting for the day his wrath is unleashed again.
