Volder, a 900 year old warforged brought to life by Emos, the god of Machines, is a relic of the first Hugo War, yet still as unyielding and functional as the day he was created. Formerly known as "Keeper," he was designed to subdue and oversee prisoners of war for Hugo’s armies, an unfeeling sentinel built for control. After the war’s conclusion and Hugo’s coronation, Volder chose to depart for Baephios, where his towering, indomitable form became a sought-after asset for the continent’s wealthiest nobles.
Stable and unmovable, Volder is the embodiment of resolve. While he feels love for a select few, his pride and stubborn nature make him unwilling to bend his will for anyone. Once a close friend to Kaiser Vridi, founder of both the Viridium Empire and the continent of Baephios, Volder broke ties when Kaiser sought world conquest, preferring to build and protect a single nation rather than rule an empire. Over centuries, Volder fortified Vasldor into a thriving trade hub and stronghold, earning his place as its symbolic leader and head of security. Now, as the 1st Seat of the Rime Seat Council, he commands with a calm but unyielding hand, proving that even a being of steel and gears can possess a heart, though one not easily softened.
