Pathik the Spider god
Pathik was once a devoted monk wandering the deep, humid jungles of Zochakha, seeking enlightenment within the forgotten ruins of its vine-choked temples. For years he meditated within a long-abandoned sanctuary, unaware that it was the hunting ground of the Broodmother, a monstrous spider demon born of Baephios’s primal chaos. Though her venom sought to end him, Pathik’s mastery of body and spirit overcame it. Over years, the venom became his tool, reshaping his body with arachnid limbs and reflexes. His transformation into something beyond mortal drew fearful reverence, and soon monks and mystics alike began to seek his wisdom, for he had transcended humanity to embody patience, precision, and predatory grace.
