She is driven by an endless, insatiable desire to find a partner capable of birthing the fabled King of the Insects, a successor powerful enough to rule all crawling, fluttering things on Baephios. Though elegant and alluring in her presence, her beauty conceals a deep malice; to No’mani, mortals are soil-staining vermin, useful only as tools or vessels. Villages unfortunate enough to draw her ire suffer calculated plagues, losing just enough crops to doom exactly one life each winter, a grim “tax” she enforces with her swarms.
