Disciples from the Sea
The Disciples from the Sea are the group of Paladins and Clerics that are stationed mainly in Golport at the giant Temple of Kava, goddess of the Seas. They take an oath of honesty and holiness before one may accepted into this religious holy order. Each new disciple must be honest with their own testimony and doctrine to Kava. To ensure this they are sent out past the shallow cove with no tribute paid and only their testimony to keep them afloat in a small rowboat. Some pass and become one of the disciples and some get swallowed by the sea to be a lot closer to Kava then they probably intended to be.
Culture
Very much similar to monks with the limited personal time and pleasures. They value honesty and hardwork, like any other religious group, but also money. Kava is known as a greedy god and wants what she wants. The disciples are doing their best to accomodate Kava with that.
Public Agenda
The main goal for this religious group is to hand out proper tributes and convert those who see the powerful ways of Kava herself. The disciples do not pity, in fact they despise, those who have fallen on the Burous Sea that did not pay the proper tribute.
Assets
The largest asset the Disciples have is the Temple in Golport but also have a decent armada of ships that are sponsored by the Disciples that carry their goods the far off lands and countries. Thus, spreading the word of Kava more and more.
History
In the 277 years of existance there has been no known evil or corrupt people in the Disciples from the Sea. I swear
