"The One"
Once revered as one of the most powerful gods in all of Baltharos, “The One” was a divine being whose worship spanned nations, feeding mortals strength beyond mortal comprehension. At the height of its influence, entire empires thrived and fell on the pacts it granted, its followers gifted with crushing strength and eldritch powers that turned armies into living weapons. But as wars erupted, wars it had caused through this imbalance of power, kingdoms collapsed, and entire civilizations perished. Over centuries, “The One”’s worshippers died or turned away, and with their abandonment, its celestial power drained. Its divine body withered and warped into a grotesque, unfathomable monstrosity: a mountainous, multilegged behemoth whose shadow alone can engulf valleys, reducing mortals to the size of ants beneath its colossal bulk.
Now, “The One” is an abomination wandering the edges of forgotten realms, a creature of incomprehensible size and lingering divinity. It no longer speaks with a voice, but whispers into the minds of those desperate or foolish enough to seek power, luring them with promises of strength and dominion. Those who hear “The One” are seldom seen unchanged, if they survive at all.
Formerly known as Jon, god of Domination.

None. “The One” is feared, not celebrated. Its followers, if any, meet in secret, forming cults that rarely last long before imploding in madness.

To create a new breed of thralls through dark pacts, spreading chaos and destruction as a means to feel the closest thing to worship it can still achieve.
