"Guide"
Once the trusted beacon for miners, travelers, and adventurers seeking safe passage through the darkest corners of Baltharos, “The Guide” was a god whose light made the treacherous bearable. With his Lantern of Future Sight, he could pierce through pitch-black tunnels and winding caverns, foreseeing dangers and revealing safe routes where no mortal could hope to tread alone. His soft voice and careful, patient guidance brought countless explorers home alive.
But as humanity advanced, his service became a crutch rather than a blessing. Those he aided no longer sought his wisdom once their maps were made, his routes charted and sold by merchants who never whispered his name in gratitude. One by one, his followers dwindled, not out of hatred, but indifference. And so, as the last candle of his worship flickered out, his divinity was stripped away. His body twisted, his gentle form now stooped and elongated, his lantern arm fused to his frame, its glow dim yet eternal. His voice, once a soft reassurance, now trembles with hesitation, though his mind remains razor sharp.
Now “The Guide” wanders the endless underground, softly muttering to himself as he searches for paths unmapped by mortals, hoping in his quiet heart that one day someone might need him again, not just his light.
Formerly known as Moress, god of Guides.

Once represented by a winding, illuminated path etched within a circle, though no one uses it anymore. Those few who’ve glimpsed him underground sometimes scratch a small spiral with a single dot of light into cave walls as a silent acknowledgment.
Holidays
None. His memory is so faded that even the miners who once prayed to him no longer mark his name or deeds.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
To chart and protect paths mortals cannot, quietly hoping to one day find meaning in guiding again, even if he can never regain divinity.

Hyper observant, meticulous, patient, humble, withdrawn, and deeply intelligent.
Morality & Philosophy
The world is full of paths, and every soul deserves guidance, even those who no longer seek it. But the foolish must earn their safe passage.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
To discover a hidden network of tunnels and paths unknown to mortals, so that one day his existence might matter again—and perhaps, find someone willing to trust in him once more.
Likes & Dislikes
Likes quiet spaces, dim light, unbroken paths, and those who listen carefully.
Dislikes noise, needless risk, and those who take safe passage for granted.

Still an unparalleled pathfinder; his presence can subtly ward off creatures of the dark and reveal unseen dangers, though he rarely offers his aid unless begged. His lantern can reveal glimpses of possible futures along a chosen path.
