Silver Jet - H&C 5

Before the group heads out of Kensington, a mysterious man in a black suit and sunglasses approaches them with a business proposition. They head to a private booth and he says he needs them to recover a briefcase from a plane that will make an emergency landing in about an hour about 30 kilometres to the west. All they must do is fend off a token force sent from the Outriders Outpost and secure the package. After the pilots evacuate, the plane will be judged damage beyond repair and allowed to be salvaged. Once the package is returned, a damaged Thatcher-pattern Jackhammer will be made available.   They head west and see the transport speeding down with smoke coming from one of the engines. 4 motorcycles and a HUMMWV-style vehicle are easily destroyed by the mechs. Oilslick gets out of his mech and approaches the downed aircraft. He opens the door and smells a distinct odour of almonds. He takes a brief look inside and sees that the pilot and three passengers are dead inside. Jekyll cuts open the plane allowing Oilslick to safely recover three suitcases stored on board.   As the group works to salvage the wreckage of the aircraft and the Outriders' vehicles, a surveillance drone is spotted overhead. They take cover so as to not be seen before the drone moves in for a closer inspection of the wreckage. The drone departs and they continue their work.   They head south to the shore of the Northern Ocean, near the cavern nesting ground of Etergaurous, an eel-like Bio-Titan. They begin salvaging a shipwreck and Taxman notices a structure carved into the rock face on the entrance to a large cavern. He approaches and the group is invited inside for sandwiches by Dr. Rima Yazdani, the head researcher of this Harbingers of the Apocalypse outpost. They return to Kensington and attempt to deliver the package.   The contact is nowhere to be found. Jekyll fixes up the mech left for them as the rest wait in the pub. With no way to contact the auditor, they leave the suitcases in a hidden location and rendez-vous with the MapLea.
