Freak Turbulence - H&C 10

The PCs leave the scene of the cargo lifter crash with a metal case just as three troop transports begin to arrive. One of them lands and an official in a military officer-style uniform emerges with a remote presence robot. They begin to investigate the crash while the troops secure the area. The PCs head south and come across the ruins of the Grasshopper Consumer Solutions factory. They begin to salvage the area when several humanoids emerge and throw junk at the mechs.   They are repelled and the PCs continue their work. An attack drone is destroyed while the humanoids are kept at bay. There is a minor earthquake and a fissure in the ground sees the emergence of a silver slushy liquid. The PCs leave and rendez-vous with the crawler.
