Bes Yashelin

The Bes Yashelin are the third largest ethnic group associated with the Yashelin species. Members of this ethnicity largely live and work within the island nation of Bes. The majority of them were exiled here alongside their surviving progeny and other allies by the Ida after the failure of the Astris Genocide. They lived on the Bes Islands for thousands of years before the barrier which cut them off from the rest of the planet of Kivria fell.   The Bes Yashelin are simultaneously known for their insularity and their voracious nosiness. Most of the Bes Yashelin rarely leave the shores of their islands even now. Some of them, however, are highly involved and competitive on a global scale. People of Kivrian origin are almost always welcome in their company, but outside Yashelin are treated with suspicion by default.
